Job roles and responsibilities:· 10+ years of guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.· Own end-to-end architecture for Guidewire implementations (PC/BC/CC).· Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.· Define the technical architecture, roadmap and design for Guidewire Claim Center implementations, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployments, aligning with the client's enterprise architecture standards.· Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within Guidewire and integrated systems.· Develop architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and strategies for Guidewire Claim Center that support long-term business goals and evolving technology landscapes.· Strong experience with Guidewire Cloud, Edge APIs, GOSU programming.· Evaluate new Guidewire features, modules, and industry trends (e.g., AI/ML integration, microservices, cloud-native patterns) to recommend strategic adoption.· Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.· Provide architectural leadership on large-scale Guidewire projects including greenfield implementations and cloud migrations.· Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior management, business stakeholders, and project teams, articulating complex technical concepts clearly.· Expertise in web services (REST/SOAP), data modeling, microservices.· Responsible for technical solutioning, understanding the nuances of the Guidewire Claim Center platform to best address business requirements.· Define non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery for Claim Center and ensure designs meet these requirements.· Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to development teams (senior developers, developers, and integrators)· Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality, maintainability, and performance of the codebase.Additional responsibilities· Collaborate with BAs, PMs, QA, and other developers to understand requirements, plan deliverables, and deliver robust solutions.· Effectively engage in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions· Lead the estimation and prioritization of sprint backlog items, ensuring alignment with project goals and efficient resource utilization.· Monitoring the Guidewire coding standards and guidelines and contribute to the development of best practices.· Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design· Specifications, integration guides, and deployment procedures.
