Position Title: Assistant Manager – Human Resources & Industrial Relations (HR/IR) Location:Sikandrabad, Uttar Pradesh Company:Tropical Agrosystem (India) Pvt. Summary TheAssistant Manager – Human Resources & Industrial Relations (HR/IR)will be responsible for independently managingplant-level HR operations and industrial relationsat the Sikandrabad manufacturing unit. The role requires a seasoned HR professional with strong exposure tofactory HR, labor law compliance, union/worker handling, and statutory governance , ensuring smooth workforce operations and industrial harmony in alignment with business objectives.Key Responsibilities: Human Resources (Plant HR) Manage end-to-endmanpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and separationfor plant employees and contract labor. Overseeemployee lifecycle management , including confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits. Coordinate and administerperformance management systems , appraisals, and annual increments. Driveemployee engagement, welfare programs, and training coordinationat the plant level. Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HR MIS reports.Industrial Relations (IR) Maintaincordial industrial relationswith workmen, supervisors, and union representatives (if applicable). Handlegrievance redressal, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries , and conflict resolution effectively. Supportcollective bargaining, wage settlements, and negotiationsas required. Ensure smooth shop-floor HR operations with minimal disruption to production.Statutory & Labor Law Compliance Ensure full compliance with applicable labor legislations, including: Factories Act Industrial Disputes Act Contract Labour (R&A) Act Minimum Wages Act PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements Prepare, maintain, and submitstatutory registers, returns, and reportswithin defined timelines. Coordinate withlabor department officials, inspectors, auditors, and legal consultantsduring inspections and audits.Reporting & Coordination Prepare periodic HR/IR reports for plant head and corporate HR. Support internal and external audits related to HR, IR, and statutory compliance. Act as a key liaison betweencorporate HR and plant managementfor policy implementation.Qualifications & Experience Graduate withpost-graduate qualification in HR / IR / Personnel Management (MBA HR / MSW / PGDPM preferred) 8 to 10 years of hands-on experienceinHR & Industrial Relations , preferably in amanufacturing / factory setup Strong working knowledge ofIndian labor laws and factory compliance Experience handlingcontract labor and shop-floor workforceKey Skills & Competencies Plant HR operations Industrial relations & labor handling Labor law compliance & statutory filings Grievance handling & disciplinary procedures Negotiation & communication Documentation, audits & MIS reporting
