Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesExperiment Development & ExecutionDevelop, implement, and QA A/B, multivariate, and personalization experiments using Optimizely Web/Feature Experimentation.Translate experiment requirements, wireframes, and hypotheses into robust front-end experiences.Build experiment variations using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Optimizely APIs.Maintain experiment quality through cross-browser testing, debugging, and performance optimization.CRO & AnalyticsPartner with CRO strategists to assess test feasibility and technical requirements.Implement tracking, event triggers, and analytics integrations (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Segment, etc.).Monitor experiments for performance, data integrity, and UX impacts.Assist with interpreting experiment results and provide technical insights.Optimization Platform EngineeringManage experimentation environments, audiences, feature flags, and configuration settings.Ensure Optimizely snippets, SDKs, and integrations are optimized for performance and accuracy.Support the rollout of feature experimentation for product teams (flags, rollouts, holdouts).Collaboration & DocumentationWork closely with design, product, and analytics teams in Agile workflows.Document experiment setups, code implementations, and platform configurations.Advocate for best practices in CRO tooling, experimentation design, and front-end performance.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.Hands-on experience with Optimizely Web Experimentation, Feature Experimentation, or similar platforms (VWO, Adobe Target, Google Optimize).Experience building interactive UI variations using DOM manipulation, JS frameworks, and event handling.Familiarity with Optimizely APIs and asynchronous snippet execution models.Solid understanding of CRO experimentation principles, statistical significance, and test design.Experience with analytics tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, CJA, Mixpanel, Heap.Familiarity with Git and Agile development workflow.Soft SkillsStrong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach.Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.Ability to manage multiple experiments simultaneously.Passion for experimentation, optimization, and user-centered thinking.Preferred QualificationsExperience with feature flagging, progressive rollout, or server-side experimentation.Familiarity with React, Vue, or other front-end frameworks.Experience using Qualtrics, FullStory, Hotjar, or other UX insight tools.Understanding of SEO, page performance, and rendering behaviour.Experience with personalization and audience segmentation tools.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing Technology, or equivalent experience.3 – 7 years of hands-on experimentation experience.Prior experience in a CRO or digital experimentation-focused team is strongly preferred.Why Join Us?Work at the intersection of data, design, and engineering to shape user experiences.High-impact, measurable work that drives business growth.Collaborative and experimentation-first culture.Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities.
