Job DescriptionPosition: Assistant Manager – Accounts & FinanceLocation: Andheri MumbaiIndustry Preference: SaaS / Software / Technology (Preferred) - Not necessaryExperience: Minimum 5+ YearsNotice Period: Candidates with a notice period of less than 30 days are preferred.Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance with strong practical exposure to Zoho Books, statutory compliances, and month-end closure processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations, preferably in a SaaS or software-driven organisation.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & ERP OperationsEnd-to-end accounting in Zoho Books, including cost centre–wise accounting.Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting records.TDS ComplianceDeduction of TDS as per applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act.Timely payment of TDS and filing of periodic TDS returns.Reconciliation of TDS ledgers and handling notices, if any.GST Compliance & ReconciliationWorking knowledge of GST laws, including RCM and blocked credits.Monthly GST compliance and reconciliation of GSTR-2B with books of accounts.Coordination with consultants for GST filings, where applicable.Expense Verification & ControlsVerification and vouching of employee expense vouchers as per organisational policies.Ensuring proper documentation and approval controls.Monthly Book ClosureMonthly closure of books of accounts.Accounting of accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, and other adjustments.Revenue RecognitionUpdation and maintenance of Revenue Schedules.Accounting and monitoring of Deferred Revenue in line with accounting policies.MIS & ReportingPreparation of monthly MIS, variance analysis, and management reports.Preparation and monitoring of ageing statements (receivables and payables).Candidate Profile:Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.Mandatory prior experience working on Zoho Books in a previous organisation.Strong understanding of statutory compliances (TDS & GST).Experience in SaaS / software / technology companies will be given additional weightage.Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
