Manager - Process Engineering - TPI Experience:10-15 years Education:B.E - MetallurgyRoles and Responsibilities: Confirm Feasibility for both existing & new components, monitor and control lead time to submit sample for both existing & new components through process mapping techniques ; identify & eliminate the non-value added activities and monitor & control inventory as per norms Plan and organize facilities for Process Engineering, Product Engineering and Product Development in the shop floor as required for new products for all NPD Projects from sample to mass production Identify and implement various process related improvements for the existing products to improve quality through process qualification, process change and failure investigation Implement System and Procedure as part of IATF - APQP, PPAP & Process Engineering Documentation Practice LEAN culture and contribute for TEI (Kaizen, SGA & CFT) projects to improve Production facilities for NPD projects, Process improvement for the existing products etc., as part of continuous improvement journey Cold rolling Process - Process parameters for any alternate Raw Material / New Source development. Feasibility Study, Authorization for Item code Creation & Changes / corrections - ECN Change Process Engineering for New Development including working closely with Steel Mills for new Grade and Size developments. NPD: Support for New Product Development for material selection, Fixing process parameters with specific focus on Annealing parameters - PPAP documents, APQP preparation and submission of documents on time - Updating of customer portal. New Raw material source development and monitoring of Raw Material performance. Designing process and validation of new RM source - Including getting approval from customers. Failure Analysis of NPD customer complaints and completion of CAPA with respect to metallurgical and other process-related parameters and resolving the same
