Title: Senior Salesforce Administrator – Global Delivery Centre (GDC) Location: Gurugram / Hybrid Reports to (day-to-day): Salesforce Platform Lead Governance oversight: Head of GDC or GDC Service Manager (SLAs, utilisation, standards)Job Description:Role Purpose The Senior Salesforce Administrator will bridge business needs and technical execution within client’s Salesforce Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for translating user stories into scalable Salesforce designs and walking the business through proposed solutions. It involves configuration using declarative tools, managing AppExchange packages, and executing deployments through our CI/CD process using Jira and GitHub. By combining internal functional consulting with technical expertise, this position ensures high-quality delivery, governance compliance, and continuous improvement across Sales Cloud and related products. Key Responsibilities Analyse user stories and translate them into Salesforce designs aligned with best practices. Engage with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and validate solutions. Configure Salesforce using declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, layouts) and implement enhancements across Sales Cloud and related products. Configure and manage AppExchange packages, ensuring proper integration and functionality. Walk stakeholders through proposed solutions and secure alignment before deployment. Execute deployments using the defined CI/CD process, including change set preparation and sandbox management. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and automation flows to support business processes. Maintain documentation of configurations and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team. Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend new features to improve efficiency. Skills & Experience 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience. Strong expertise in Sales Cloud; familiarity with MCAE and Net Zero Cloud is a plus. Understanding of Salesforce security model and data management best practices. Understanding of APIs and integrations desirable. Proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, and automation flows. Experience with deployment processes and tools (Jira, GitHub). Salesforce Certified Administrator required; Advanced Admin or App Builder desirable. Continuous improvement mindset; experience with agile delivery frameworks is a plus. Reporting & Governance Day-to-day reports to Salesforce Development Lead. GDC governance for standards, SLAs/KPIs, utilisation and performance. Employed by client's India GDC under defined recharge model. Working Model Hybrid (Gurugram + remote), aligned to global collaboration windows; occasional extended hours for cross-time-zone work. Late Shifts for extended coverage: • 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST • 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST Shift assignments depend on role requirements and global project alignment.
