Job Description

Job Purpose: To assist the Company Secretary and legal/compliance teams in ensuring that the company complies with all statutory obligations, maintains proper corporate governance, and supports secretarial and administrative functions related to board and shareholder matters.Key Responsibilities: Assist in board meeting preparations and regulatory filings. Ensure compliance with corporate laws and SEBI regulations. Maintain statutory registers and records. Preparation of all statutory registers, forms, certificates, etc. as required under various Acts and regulations Preparation and fi ling of annual returns, forms certificates etc. Preparation of notices, agendas and minutes with respect to all board meetings including the annual general meeting; Filing of returns, applications, documents, notices etc. with the Registrar of Companies. Preparation of documentation and appropriate fi ling in respect of any changes to directors, registered office of the company etc.Qualifications and Work Experience: Pursuing CS (Company Secretary) course from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Must have completed Executive Programme and be eligible for training as per ICSI guidelines Prior internship or exposure in corporate secretarial work (preferred but not mandatory) Basic understanding of Companies Act, 2013, SEBI regulations, and other corporate lawsKnowledge, Skills and Competencies: Legal and Compliance Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of company law and corporate governance practices Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication; ability to draft emails, notices, and minutes Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in preparing documents and maintaining records Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of MCA portal and other regulatory websites Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with various teams including legal, finance, and senior management Ethical Conduct: High level of integrity and professional responsibility
