Key Responsibilities Tendering and Estimation:Reviewing architectural/structural drawings and specifications to prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive precast BOQs, including concrete volume, reinforcement steel, and casting requirements. Cost Control and Management:Monitoring project budgets, identifying cost variances, and implementing cost-saving measures throughout the production and erection phases. Contractual Administration:Managing contract agreements, preparing subcontractor payments, and handling claims or variations (VOs) related to design changes or extra work. Production Coordination:Liaising with the design and production teams to ensure that quantities align with casting schedules and material requirements. Sourcing and Negotiation:Obtaining quotations for materials (cement, steel) and specialized items like molds, and negotiating with suppliers to optimize project costs. Required Skills and Qualifications Education:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management. Experience:Prior experience in precast concrete, structural, or civil construction projects. Technical Skills:Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and specialized estimation software (e.g., Tekla for 3D modeling, or other ERP systems).
