Job Purpose:The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity focuses on supporting leading global private equity and credit funds by managing complex reconciliation processes, structured credit instruments (including ABS and MBS funds), and operational workflows with strong expertise in tools like Geneva, WSO & Duco and will collaborate closely with custodians, prime brokers, fund administrators and trustee to ensure accurate reporting. . Key ResponsibilitiesGeneva – Loan booking, servicing and Cash & Position Reconciliation Specialist (ABS & MBS Funds and Private Credit) Daily cash and position reconciliation and reporting for Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) funds and private credit, ensuring accurate position and cash flow tracking. Identifying the cash and position breaks and investigating the issue to resolve the same and update the same to respective stakeholders Three-way Position reconciliation between Geneva, Custodians and Fund Administrator (Par value, Cost and Market Value reconciliation) Setting up Geneva for new loans by going through Credit agreements, term sheet and other legal documents. Loan servicing in Geneva i.e., rollover, payments, borrowing, fees, spread changes, maturity date update, etc. as per agent bank notices Factor Updates & Paydown: Track and process monthly factor updates for ABS/MBS securities and ensure correct amortization in Geneva. Reconcile cash and positions across all funds on daily basis using Duco platform Work across multiple groups to troubleshoot technical and accounting problems Interacting pro-actively with various stakeholders like custodians, banks, and PE fund managers on a day-to-day-basis Manage month end closing activities Thoroughly checking Agent’s notices involving drawdowns, repricing, loan service etc. Understanding of Trade documents like Assignment agreements, Funding Memos Liaise with global; teams and support ongoing projects, system integration, perform UAT, as needed. Setting up SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) by laying down the processes and internal check frameworks to achieve the overall objective Client Management:Understanding project request, negotiate deadline and handling client queries Project Management:Project structuring, planning, conceptualizing outputKey CompetenciesB. Com Graduate/MBA finance 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting, Loan Syndication, ABS and MBS funds, Asset servicing, cash, and position reconciliation of private credit. Knowledge of databases Markit (for notices), Geneva reporting (cash and Long-short position) Experience of working on CDO Suite, Geneva and Duco and other loan operations platform Understanding and ability to work with Legal documents (Credit or Loan agreements/ Amendments /Assignment agreements) Strong in ABS, MBS funds, loan operations and analytical skills Excellent in MS Excel to process varied data sets A demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academic excellence with project management, client relationship management, analytical, and teamwork skills
