The role ensures smooth project execution through timely approvals, clearances, and effective coordination with regulatory and local authorities.Job Description As Head Liasioning, in the Road/Highway projects team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of liasioning for the Road / Highway projects. This includes planning, coordinating, liasoning and executing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes liasoning for land, resources and coordinating with team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliverproject according to plan. Responsibility Lead and oversee liaisoning with Central, State, and Local Government Authorities including MSIDC, NHAI, Pune Municipal Corp, PWD, Revenue Department, Forest Department, Pollution Control Board, and local municipal bodies. Ensure timely procurement of all statutory approvals, permits, licenses, and clearances required for highway construction and related infrastructure works. Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and government officials, district administration, police, and local bodies. Handle land acquisition coordination, right-of-way (ROW) issues, utility shifting approvals, and rehabilitation/resettlement-related liaisoning. Manage stakeholder engagement with local communities, village panchayats, and political representatives to ensure smooth project progress. Anticipate regulatory risks and proactively resolve issues that could delay construction timelines. Support project leadership in negotiations, meetings, and representations with authorities and external stakeholders. Maintain compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Guide and mentor the liaisoning team at site and corporate levels. Prepare and present regular status reports on approvals, risks, and liaisoning activities to senior management.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Law, Public Administration, or a related field. 15–20 years of experience in liaisoning roles within large-scale infrastructure, highway, or road construction projects. Experience with MISDC, NHAI, MoRTH, State PWD, or large EPC organizations Strong network and working relationships with Maharashtra State authorities and local administration along the Pune–Shirur corridor. In-depth knowledge of statutory approvals, land acquisition processes, environmental clearances, and ROW regulations.
