The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in mobile testing (Android/iOS), strong coding background, and proven ability to drive automation strategy, ensuring scalable and high-quality mobile releases. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS platforms. • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate mobile application functionality, performance, and usability. • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers to identify test scenarios, define acceptance criteria, and improve overall product quality. • Ensure automation coverage across functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing. • Debug issues, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports with reproducible steps. • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on automation best practices. • Stay updated with the latest mobile automation tools, trends, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 4+ years in mobile automation. • Strong expertise in mobile automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox. • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation scripting. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation suites. • Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture, REST APIs, and backend services. • Experience in testing across different devices, emulators, and cloud platforms (BrowserStack, Saucelabs, Firebase Test Lab). • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. Nice-to-Have Skills: • Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave). • Experience in performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, or mobile-specific tools). • Exposure to security testing for mobile applications. • Contribution to open-source automation projects.
