Job DescriptionPosition: Key Accounts ManagerDepartment: Client SuccessLocation: ChennaiExperience: 4–8 YearsIndustry Exposure: NBFC / BFSI (Mandatory)Role OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned Key Accounts Manager with strong experience in managing NBFC clients. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to key accounts, combining structured thinking, consultative problem-solving, and relationship management to drive long-term value, retention, and account growth.This role requires someone who can understand complex business requirements, translate them into actionable solutions, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver measurable outcomes for clients.Key Responsibilities- Own and manage a portfolio of key NBFC accounts, acting as the primary point of contact. - Build deep, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders (CXOs, Business Heads, Product & Marketing teams). - Demonstrate a consultative mindset by understanding client business models, challenges, and growth objectives. - Apply structured thinking to analyze client requirements, identify gaps, and propose scalable solutions. - Drive account planning, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and performance discussions with clients. - Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client goals and business outcomes. - Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations) to ensure seamless delivery and execution. - Track account health, client satisfaction, and retention metrics. - Proactively manage risks, escalations, and expectations to ensure high-quality service delivery.Required Skills & Qualifications- 4–8 years of experience in Key Account Management / Client Partner / Relationship Management roles. - Hands-on experience handling NBFC clients (mandatory). - Strong structured thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Proven consultative selling / advisory approach rather than transactional sales. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to translate business needs into clear solutions and action plans. - Comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments. - Strong presentation and negotiation skills.Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with BFSI-focused products, platforms, or services (FinTech, SaaS, Marketing, Data, etc.). - Exposure to enterprise or large-account handling. - MBA or equivalent qualification (preferred, not mandatory).
