Location: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite at Kolkata Office)Duration: Full-Time, 3-Month ContractStart Date: Mid-February 2026※ Possibility of extension of contract based on performance & project requirementsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on MERN Stack Web Developer who can quickly contribute to active projects, work closely with a small team, and deliver high-quality web applications in a fast-paced environment.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys startup culture, takes ownership, and is comfortable working with evolving requirements.This is a contract-based role for 3 months (full-time) with the possibility of extension of contract based on performance & project requirements.Key Responsibilities- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) - Translate functional requirements and discussions into working features - Build clean, scalable, and maintainable front-end and back-end code - Integrate REST APIs and third-party services - Debug issues, fix bugs, and optimize performance - Support deployment and post-release fixes as required - Collaborate closely with founders, designers, and QA - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviewsRequired Skills & Experience- 2+ years of hands-on experience with MERN stack development - Strong proficiency in JavaScript / ES6+ - Solid experience with React.js (hooks, state management) - Experience building APIs using Node.js & Express.js - Working knowledge of MongoDB and schema design - Experience using Git and collaborative workflows - Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelinesPreferred (Nice to Have)- Basic exposure to GCP or AWS - Experience working in agile or startup environments - Basic understanding of Japanese languageContract TermsType: Full-time, 3-months contractWork Mode: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite at Kolkata Office)Compensation: Competitive (based on experience and skill level)Possibility of Extension: Based on performance and project scope
