Position : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Location : Hybrid (India/Singapore preferred) Experience : Minimum 5 years Education : Full-time Reports To : Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Board of DirectorsRole overview- Accomplished, forward-thinking, and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) required for Corpsustain Ventures- Extensive experience in fundraising, financial strategy, investor relations, and fiscal governance- Background in high-growth or impact-driven organizations preferred- Key role in leading the upcoming seed-stage equity raise- Align financial operations with global expansion and technological advancement goals- Lead equity investment structuring and capital strategy- Develop and manage financial models and long-term forecasts- Oversee budget planning and cost optimization- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation- Establish and maintain governance frameworks across financial functions.Role Key Responsibilities- Strategic Financial LeadershipAs the financial steward of Corpsustain Ventures, the incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously refining both the short-term and long-term financial strategy in alignment with the organization’s vision to emerge as a global leader in ESG consulting and SaaS-driven solutions. Serving as the principal financial advisor to the CEO and the Board of Directors, the role demands delivering data-backed insights to guide strategic planning, optimize capital allocation, and inform long-range decision-making. This includes leading advanced financial scenario planning, modeling scalable growth strategies, and driving value creation initiatives that underpin the company’s expanding geographic footprint and diversified portfolio of services.- Fundraising & Investor RelationsThe candidate will be expected to lead the company’s seed-stage equity fundraising efforts with strategic rigor and executional excellence. This includes the development of persuasive investor materials, comprehensive financial projections, and well-organized due diligence data rooms, alongside the articulation of tailored business plans that resonate with institutional and impact focused investors. The role also involves proactively engaging and cultivating relationships with venture capital firms, private equity players, family offices, angel networks, and strategic impact investors to support both immediate fundraising objectives and long-term capital requirements. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for negotiating investment terms, structuring equity or convertible instruments, and ensuring that all financing activities are aligned with the company’s valuation framework, cap table discipline, and forward-looking capital strategy.- Financial Planning, Operations & ControlsThe incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full spectrum of financial functions, encompassing management accounting, working capital optimization, cash flow forecasting, internal audits, tax planning, and statutory reporting. A critical aspect of the role involves establishing and maintaining robust internal financial controls to ensure operational transparency, cost efficiency, and adherence to applicable financial regulations across jurisdictions, including India, Singapore, and other international hubs. The role also demands the development and monitoring of key financial performance indicators—such as burn rate, EBITDA Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), gross margin, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)—to support strategic decision-making and provide clear, data-driven insights for investor communication and long-term value creation.- Technology & SaaS Financial ModellingThe ideal candidate will lead the development and refinement of revenue models tailored to SaaS-based offerings, integrating key components such as pricing strategy, recurring revenue structures, freemium or license-based monetization, and customer acquisition cost analysis. This role demands close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to ensure that financial planning is tightly aligned with platform development cycles, subscriptionbased revenue forecasts, and go-to-market execution. A critical responsibility includes evaluating the financial viability of digital products by establishing clear unit economics, defining profitability benchmarks, and assessing the cost dynamics associated with scaling each SaaS vertical.- Compliance, Risk Management & Corporate GovernanceThe candidate will be expected to ensure strict adherence to local and international legal, tax, and compliance frameworks across all jurisdictions in which the company and its clients operate. This includes proactively identifying financial, operational, and investment risks, and instituting robust risk mitigation frameworks along with comprehensive contingency planning.
