Job Scope:To be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Food & Non-Food Procurement Team, and assist Procurement Manager in the management and planning of all aspects of the Food & Non-Food Procurement operations of the company.Job Responsibilities:- To actively source for the most appropriate products for various departments and business units within the company, and to negotiate for the best price and supply terms, whilst maintaining continuity of supply and internal and external relations. - Source and procure os&e items, f&b items in accordance with material specifications, quality standard, timeline and for competative rates - To drive for location-wide standardization of materials and equipment, and leverage on the cumulative quantity of common items across the Group as well as extending supply contract coverage to reduce total cost and administrative effort. - To evaluate current suppliers’ performance, and recommend new suppliers to improve competition and product mix. - To ensure compliance with the Group’s Procurement Policies & Procedures and suggest improvements to Procurement Operations. - To maintain and update Group procurement records. - Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.Job Requirements:- Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major study in Procurement and Supply, Business Administration, Hotel Management or related discipline. Diploma in these disciplines will also be considered. - Minimum 2 years’ relevant purchasing experience preferably in F&B / Hotel industry Ability to work with store, back office, operations and other stakeholders to deliver support - Good problem solving, communication & negotiation skills - Good command of both spoken and written English, Hindi Other Indian/ Asian language is a plus. - Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and other office automation tools - Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks within a tight schedule
