Experience:5 – 10 Years (Relevant experience in field application support, service, or technical roles in analytical instruments) Territory:Pan IndiaJob Summary The Assistant Manager – Field Application Support will be responsible for providing pan-India field application and technical support for NIR instruments. Based at the Head Office, the role involves extensive travel and close collaboration with Sales, service Product, and Application teams to support pre-sales demonstrations, calibration development, customer training, and business growth initiatives.Key Responsibilities ·Position is based at the Head Office (HO) Ahmedabad and report directly to the National Service Manager. ·Handle pan-India field application support with extensive travel (approximately 17 days per month or as per business requirements). ·Execute and support pre-sales demonstrations in coordination with Sales and service, Product and Application teams. ·Provide on-site application support for NIR instruments at customer locations. ·Collaborate with the Application team for new calibration development at the laboratory, Validation of calibrations, Centralized calibration maintenance and updates ·Support customer onboarding through technical training and application guidance. ·Work closely with Sales and service and Product teams to identify new business opportunities and support technical evaluations. ·Prepare ROI calculations and technical justifications to demonstrate product value to customers. ·Leverage successful NIR installations to support repeat business and customer references. ·Maintain accurate and timely documentation on: Field NIR installations, Application performance and operational status, Ongoing and required field supportKey Skills & Competencies ·Excellent communication and presentation abilities ·Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset ·Ability to work independently in field conditions ·Good coordination with cross-functional teams ·Basic understanding of NIR spectroscopy calibration development and validation. ·Basic knowledge of calibration development software and data analysis techniques. ·Working knowledge of analytical instrumentation and technologies such as FTIR and NIR. ·Strong technological aptitude with a keen interest in learning and developing effective analytical problem-solving skills. ·Expertise in data management, data analysis. ·Strong verbal and written communication skills. ·Willingness to travel pan-India as and when required.
