This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who thrives in Linux, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and modern deployment pipelines, with bonus exposure to Cloudflare and edge security.You will play a critical role in maintaining reliability, security, and performance across on-prem and cloud-adjacent systems supporting compliance-driven workloads.Core Responsibilities:Linux Administration (Expert Level)Architect, deploy, and maintain Linux systems (RHEL, Rocky, Ubuntu, or similar)Perform system hardening, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshootingManage users, permissions, services, storage, and networkingSupport compliance-oriented environments (audit logs, access controls, monitoring)Elasticsearch AdministrationDeploy, manage, and optimize Elasticsearch clustersHandle index lifecycle management (ILM), snapshots, backups, and restoresMonitor performance, storage growth, shard allocation, and cluster healthSupport log ingestion pipelines and security telemetry use casesKubernetes AdministrationDeploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clustersMaintain cluster security, RBAC, networking, and storage integrationsSupport application deployments, scaling, and upgradesDiagnose pod, node, and control-plane issues in production environmentsDeployment & Platform OperationsWork with Dokploy (or similar deployment platforms) to manage application lifecyclesSupport CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automationCollaborate with developers to ensure stable and secure deploymentsBonus / Preferred Skills:Cloudflare administration (DNS, WAF, Zero Trust, Access, rate limiting)Experience with security monitoring tools (SIEM, logging, alerting)Familiarity with on-prem virtualization (VMware / ESXi)Exposure to compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, SOC 2, HIPAA)Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)Requirements:- 2+ years Linux systems administration (senior / expert level) - Strong hands-on experience with Elasticsearch in production - Proven Kubernetes administration experience - Comfortable operating in high-availability, security-focused environments - Ability to work independently and own systems end-to-endBenefits:- Competitive salary based on experience and skillset - Opportunities to work on challenging and innovative projects - Friendly and collaborative work environment - Alternate 2nd and 4th Saturdays Off
