Job PurposeTo maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of comfort and satisfaction for guests.Key Responsibilities- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per brand standards - Make beds, replace linens, towels, and amenities - Replenish room supplies (toiletries, water bottles, tea/coffee, etc.) - Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items immediately - Follow daily room assignment and cleaning schedules - Handle guest requests politely and promptly - Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment - Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, and infection-control standards - Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping pantries and trolleys - Support deep cleaning and special cleaning tasks as assigned - Comply with hotel policies, grooming standards, and attendance rulesSkills & Competencies- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals - Attention to detail and time management - Physically fit to stand, bend, and lift for long hours - Ability to follow instructions and SOPs - Team player with a positive attitude - Basic communication skills (English / local language)Qualifications & Experience- Minimum education: Diploma in Hotel Management / Bachelor degree - Previous housekeeping experience in hotel/hospitality is an advantage - Freshers can be considered and trained
