Job RoleThis is a contractual on-site role for a Civil Structural Engineer at one of our client's project in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In depth knowledge of structural steel building including fabrication and erection is a must especially for commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have detailed knowledge of industry standards, and hands-on experience with project execution in a fast-paced environment. The person will be responsible for day-to-day co-ordination at site with the consultants and vendors.Position : Project Executive – Structural Steel Engineer.Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. (Should be open & flexible to relocation).Type of Engagement : On service Contract till further notice.Educational Qualification : B.Tech. / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.Experience : 09+ years of experience in execution or on-site experience of commercial office projects, and exposure to factory and industrial projects, PEB, etc.Job Responsibilities :1. Project Managementi) Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.ii) Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for structural steel projects.iii) Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues during fabrication and erection.2. Adhere to Project Schedulingi) Ensure adherence to project scheduling and provide inputs to the Project Manager for overall integration with Project Master plan.3. Fabrication & Erection Supporti) Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.ii) Review shop drawings, erection plans, and material specifications for compliance with design requirements.iii) Provide technical support during steel assembly, welding, and bolting operations.4. Vendor Performance Monitoringi) Track vendor deliverables against timelines agreed upon.ii) Daily tracking and Weekly updates to be given to Project Manager. Report the quantity and quality of works in a daily/ weekly report format.5. Commissioning & Handoveri) Assist the Project Manager in commissioning and handover.6. Reporting / MISi) Ensure all reports are made and sent on time.Special Skills -- Site execution, - Site Logistics management, - Strong understanding of fundamental engineering, - Basic Knowledge of relevant IS Codes & Quality management, - Schedule management, - Good written English, - Excellent problem-solving ability, - Good Coordination skills & team player, - Excellent IT skills, such as, MS Office (Excel, Word and Power point), Cloud Collaboration (BIM) tools, - Auto CAD (preferred not mandatory), MS- Project (basics).Joining : ImmediateRemuneration : At par with the Industry.
