Position Overview We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer who is willing to relocate to UAE to manage and maintain our hybrid banking infrastructure, including on-premises servers, Oracle systems, and multi-cloud environments (Azure/AWS). The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of critical banking systems while providing expert troubleshooting support. Key Responsibilities Server & Infrastructure Management Administer and maintain on-premises banking servers and associated hardware Manage Oracle database servers and applications in banking environments Perform routine system monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions Ensure compliance with banking industry regulations and security standards Cloud Computing & Hybrid Environment Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure and/or AWS Implement and maintain hybrid cloud solutions connecting on-premises and cloud environments Manage cloud resources, including compute, storage, networking, and security services Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for banking applications Monitor cloud costs and optimize resource utilization Troubleshooting & Support Provide Tier 2/3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and problems Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hybrid environments Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support Document troubleshooting procedures and resolutions Collaborate with application teams to resolve performance issues Security & Compliance Implement and maintain security controls for banking infrastructure Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations (PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.) Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability remediation Manage access controls and authentication systems Maintain audit trails and compliance documentation Automation & Optimization Develop automation scripts for routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency Develop and maintain operational documentation and runbooks Qualifications & Skills Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2-3 years of experience managing hybrid infrastructure in banking or financial services Hands-on experience with: Oracle database administration and server management Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services Windows Server and Linux administration Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Networking concepts and troubleshooting Strong understanding of banking compliance and security requirements Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Relevant certifications (Azure/AWS certifications, Oracle DBA, RHCE, etc.) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Datadog, etc.) Understanding of financial applications and payment systems Work Environment Hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote) Participation in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical systems Fast-paced banking/financial services environment
