We’re Hiring: Linux Administrator | NextGen IdentityLocation: Mumbai (India)Experience: 8+ Years⏱ Availability: Immediate Joiners PreferredRole: Linux AdministratorWe are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with strong shell scripting expertise to manage and support a solution deployed on Linux-based appliances. The role also provides exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls and secure access mechanisms in enterprise environments.What is this Role About?This role focuses on managing hardened Linux appliances that support secure enterprise solutions. You’ll work closely with PAM concepts such as privileged access control, certificate-based authentication, and short-lived credentials to ensure systems are secure, automated, and compliant with best practices.Key Responsibilities:- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems and appliances (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). - Support applications deployed on Linux appliances, including post-deployment and bootstrap configuration. - Implement and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls for secure privileged access. - Work with short-lived certificates / ephemeral credentials to enable secure authentication. - Develop and maintain Bash shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency. - Perform system monitoring, patching, security hardening, and root-cause troubleshooting. - Maintain operational documentation and adhere to security and compliance best practices. - Collaborate with security and IAM teams to support secure and scalable deployments.Required Skills & Experience:- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or in a similar role. - Strong hands-on Linux system administration skills. - Excellent Bash scripting and automation experience. - Working knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts. - Understanding of certificate-based authentication and short-lived credentials. - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Nice to Have:- Experience with enterprise PAM tools such as CyberArk, Delinea, or BeyondTrust. - Linux certifications like RHCSA / RHCE or equivalent. - Exposure to security hardening and compliance-driven environments.Why Join Us:- Work on secure, enterprise-grade Linux and IAM platforms. - Gain hands-on exposure to PAM and modern access security practices. - Fully remote work environment with a collaborative team. - Opportunity to grow in identity, security, and automation domains.
