Location: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite at Kolkata Office)Duration: Full-Time, 3-Month ContractStart Date: Mid-February 2026※ Possibility of extension of contract based on performance & project requirementsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of testing & quality of web/mobile applications, while also supporting cloud infrastructure and application scalability.This role is ideal for someone who has worked in startup or agile environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is comfortable working closely with MERN stack developers.This is a contract-based role for 3 months (full-time) with the possibility of extension of contract based on performance & project requirements.Key Responsibilities1.Quality Assurance & Testing- Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into detailed test cases and test scenarios - Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing - Ensure web/mobile applications are bug-free and production-ready - Validate that delivered features meet client expectations and requirements - Work closely with MERN stack developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes - Maintain proper QA documentation and reports - Proactively identify risks, gaps, and quality improvements2.Cloud & Deployment Support(GCP/AWS)- Assist in maintaining and modifying GCP/AWS environments - Support deployment, monitoring, and scaling of web applications - Help optimize infrastructure based on traffic and performance needs - Coordinate with developers for CI/CD, environment changes, and releasesRequired Skills & Experience-3+ years of experience in QA/Testing of web/mobile applications -Strong experience in writing test cases and test scenarios -Experience testing REST APIs and modern web applications -Familiarity with GCP or AWS environments -Understanding of agile / startup workflows -Good communication skills and ownership mindsetPreferred (Nice to Have)Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelinesExperience working with MERN stack applicationsExposure to performance or security testingPrior experience in startup or consulting companiesFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologyBasic understanding of Japanese languageContract TermsType: Full-time, 3-months contractWork Mode: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite at Kolkata Office)Compensation: Competitive (based on experience and skill level)Possibility of Extension: Based on performance and project scope
