We work with insurers, hospitals, and corporate clients to provide doctor-led claims concierge, healthcare navigation, and wellness services, ensuring policyholders receive the right care, faster claim resolution, and a superior healthcare experience.Role OverviewWe are looking for qualified doctors to join our Mumbai team and work full-time on health insurance claims support and medical concierge services.This role is ideal for doctors who want to move beyond traditional clinical practice and play a critical role in claims evaluation, medical coordination, and patient advocacy within an Insurtech environment.You will act as the medical backbone of Flashaid’s claims operations—supporting pre-authorization, hospitalization, and post-claim processes through strong clinical judgment and patient-centric guidance.Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Claims Support- Review and evaluate health insurance claims for medical accuracy and appropriateness - Support pre-authorization, enhancement, and discharge-related processes - Assess treatment plans, clinical documentation, and medical necessity - Coordinate with hospitals, insurers, TPAs, and internal operations teams - Provide clear medical inputs for claim queries, approvals, and resolutionsDoctor-Led Medical Concierge- Act as the primary medical point of contact for policyholders during hospitalization - Guide patients through pre-hospitalization, admission, treatment, and post-discharge care - Support smooth claim settlement through accurate medical documentation and justification - Explain medical aspects of claims to clients in a simple, empathetic mannerQuality & Process Excellence- Maintain high standards of medical accuracy, compliance, and documentation - Record detailed medical notes and claim-related updates - Collaborate closely with relationship managers, ops, and product teams - Contribute to improving claims workflows, medical SOPs, and service qualityQualifications & Requirements- MBBS mandatory (MD preferred but not required) - Valid NMC / MCI registration - Experience in: - Insurance claims, TPAs, hospital billing, or utilization review - OR - Clinical practice with strong interest in insurance and healthcare operations - Strong analytical and documentation skills - Ability to communicate effectively with non-medical stakeholders - Comfortable working in a structured, corporate healthcare environment - Based in or willing to relocate to MumbaiWhy Join Flashaid- Be part of a doctor-led Insurtech model - Stable, full-time role with predictable working hours - Move beyond OPD/IPD pressure into a strategic healthcare role - Direct impact on patient experience and claim outcomes - Collaborative, high-ownership work environment - Opportunity to shape modern healthcare and insurance workflowsWho This Role Is Ideal For- Doctors from TPAs or insurance backgrounds - Hospital doctors seeking non-clinical corporate roles - MBBS doctors looking for long-term career growth outside hospitals - Clinicians interested in healthcare systems, insurance, and patient advocacy
