This role is focused on pan-India payroll management, statutory compliance, and workforce governance for a distributed workforce of 1,500+ employees, while driving a disciplined, performance-oriented organizational culture across project sites and corporate offices.Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end payroll processing, compensation structuring, and benefits administration for large, multi-location infrastructure projects - Ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, and contract labor regulations - Build and standardize HR policies, SOPs, and HR governance frameworks for government, EPC, highway, road, and urban infrastructure projects - Manage manpower planning, workforce deployment, attendance systems, onboarding, and exits across sites - Drive employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and engagement initiatives - Act as a strategic HR business partner to project directors, site leadership, and corporate management-Qualifications & Experience- 10+ years of HR leadership experience in government infrastructure, EPC, construction, highways, roads, water, or urban development projects - Proven experience managing large workforces (2,000+ employees) across multiple states - Strong expertise in payroll management, statutory compliance, HR operations, and labor law audits - In-depth knowledge of central and state labor legislation applicable to project-based organizations - Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline - Proficiency in HRMS, payroll software, workforce analytics, and HR MIS reporting
