The ideal candidate should have a strong background in interior design as well as exposure to real estate management, with 2 to 5 years of experience in industry practice and/or teaching. This role demands a balance of design expertise, software proficiency, market knowledge, and academic mentoring skills, enabling the faculty member to guide students effectively across both creative and analytical domains..Key Responsibilities:- Conduct theory and practical classes in Interior design and Real estate management, ensuring strong conceptual and applied learning. - Deliver hands-on training in 3Ds Max with V-Ray and AutoCAD; working knowledge of Photoshop is an added advantage. - Conduct drafting and sketching classes to strengthen students’ design fundamentals and visualization skills. - Introduce learners to real estate fundamentals, property valuation basics, finance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., RERA, taxation, land use laws). - Support sessions on emerging real estate trends, sustainability, PropTech, and market analysis. - Develop lesson plans, project briefs, and assessments in alignment with course objectives. - Mentor and evaluate students through regular reviews, assignments, and Vivas. - Coordinate with the Program Leader and academic Dean for curriculum development and planning. - Encourage student participation in creative projects, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaborations. - Maintain academic records, attendance, and grading systems as per institutional standards. - Stay updated with industry trends and bring real-world insights into the classroom.Requirements:- Relevant Qualification in Interior Design, Real Estate, Architecture, Urban Planning, or Design Management. - 2–5 years of relevant experience in the AEC industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), with exposure to both interior projects and real estate. - Proficiency in 3Ds Max + V-Ray and AutoCAD will be an ADD-ON - Working knowledge of Photoshop, MS Excel (for financial models), and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) will be considered a plus. - Strong communication and classroom management skills. - A passion for design education and the ability to inspire creative thinking among learners.If you’re a creative professional eager to contribute to the next generation of designers, we invite you to join AAFT Online’s vibrant academic community.Keywords (Interior Design & Real Estate)Interior Design, Real Estate Management, AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Property Valuation, Real Estate Finance, RERA, PropTech, Urban Planning, AEC Industry
