About the Role We are hiring an experiencedManager – Design & technologyto bridge the gap between IT and design technology users across Latinem. The role will ensure smooth integration, deployment, and support of design software across multiple departments such as Development, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, CRM, Collections, Community Management, and Facilities Management. The candidate will not focus on BIM implementation but instead support IT infrastructure, interoperability, and system integration for design technologies within Latinem.Key Responsibilities 1. IT Support for Design Technology Oversee Autodesk software deployment, licensing, and compliance across the organisation. Manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure for Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Construction Cloud, etc.). Work closely with IT infrastructure teams to optimize hardware and network performance for design applications. Ensure seamless operation of Autodesk and third-party plugins, including their updates and maintenance. Troubleshoot software crashes, performance issues, and interoperability problems across departments. 2. Interoperability & Integration Lead the integration of design tools with enterprise systems (Salesforce (CRM), SAP (ERP), or other business applications). Develop and support custom scripts and automation workflows for data exchange between Autodesk tools and business applications. Work with data analytics teams to extract, manage, and visualize design-related data. Support teams in leveraging APIs and middleware to streamline design-to business workflows.3. Collaboration with Consultants & Internal Teams Act as the liaison between IT and design consultants/Realty Stakeholders, ensuring software and systems meet their operational needs. Support the BIM and design teams in interoperability challenges. Provide guidance on file management strategies, cloud storage, and digital twin initiatives. 4. Security & Compliance Ensure Autodesk software security policies align with IT standards and cybersecurity best practices. Implement role-based access control and licensing compliance to optimize software costs. Work with the IT security team to mitigate data loss and unauthorized access risks. 5. Training & User Support Develop IT-centric training materials and SOPs for Autodesk software and other design technology specific usage and troubleshooting. Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions for non-technical stakeholders on integrating design tools into their workflows. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 IT support for design software-related issues.Level 2 (L2) Support for Design Software Purpose: L2 provides specialised technical assistance when issues cannot be resolved by front-line (L1) support. These analysts typically have deeper product knowledge, understand advanced workflows, and can diagnose non-obvious problems. Typical Responsibilities: Advanced Troubleshooting Investigating errors that require in-depth knowledge of design tools (e.g., corrupt project files, complex geometry failures, plug-in conflicts). Reproducing issues to verify defects or configuration faults. 2. Environment & Configuration Support Handling issues involving: o GPU settings, rendering engines, and hardware acceleration. o Network licensing, floating licences, and user-profile corruption. o Installation failures beyond basic steps. 3. Workflow-Specific Guidance Advising on correct usage of features within professional design workflows (e.g., CAD layer management, BIM coordination checks, constraints, topology cleanup). 4. Escalation Management Determining when issues result from software defects, unsupported features, or architectural limitations. Preparing detailed escalation packets for L3 (logs, system info, repro steps, sample files). Who Typically Performs L2? Senior support analysts, specialists in the specific design suite, or technical staff with practical industry experience (architecture, engineering, industrial design, VFX).Level 3 (L3) Support for Design Software Purpose: L3 provides the highest level of technical expertise, typically involving software engineers, development teams, or product specialists with access to source code and deep system architecture. Typical Responsibilities: Root-Cause Analysis of Defects Investigating bugs involving: Kernel-level modelling functions (e.g., Boolean operations, meshing algorithms). Rendering pipeline issues (materials, shaders, GPU drivers). File format parsing or compatibility errors. Analysing crash dumps, logs, and code-level behaviour. 2. Code Fixes & Hotfix Engineering Producing patches, maintenance releases, or updates to resolve validated defects. Implementing long-term fixes for architectural problems. 3. Complex Integration Problems Supporting integrations with: External renderers (V-Ray, Arnold). Cloud collaboration platforms. Custom plug-ins or APIs. Diagnosing SDK issues and advising external developers. 4. Architectural Recommendations Offering guidance on scalability, performance optimisation, or feature limitations. Documenting known limitations or producing workarounds requiring internal knowledge. Who Typically Performs L3? Software engineers, product development teams, senior architects, and platform specialistsWhat You Should Bring 7-8 years of strong digital transformation experience.
