Role SummaryThe quality controller is responsible for ensuring product quality during production & managing daily warehouse inspections related to dispatch.The role requires a strong eye for detail, hands-on operational capability, and close coordination with warehouse, production, procurement, and merchandising teams. This includes maintaining accurate QC documentation, supporting inventory integrity, and ensuring all products meet company quality standards before they move out of the warehouse.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control (Production QC)- Inspect raw materials including Fabrics, Sarees, Dupatta, Home furnishing products, Trims & Accessories as per company quality standards. - Identify defects, deviations, or non-conforming materials and escalate accordingly. - Document inspection results and maintain QC reports. - Ensure that products meet company and customer requirements before dispatch. - Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues. - Publish the daily QC activity reports to Management.Warehouse Operations- Assist to dispatch against orders with thorough inspections, Visual Audit & packing - Maintain the products & raw material incoming & outgoing quality inspection file. - Assist on inventory audit & reconcileSkills and Requirements·Minimum 2–4 years of experience in QC role, preferably in apparel & textile.·Familiarity with quality inspection methods, AQL standards, and basic textile understanding·Knowledge of inventory management tools and quality inspection methods.·Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.·Basic MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).·Good communication and coordination skills.·Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Educational Qualification- Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Supply Chain, Production, or related field.Key Competencies- Accountability & Ownership - Problem-Solving - Time Management - Teamwork - Process Discipline
