Role: Lead - Molecular Biology & Cell line engineeringLevel : Senior Leadership roleLocation: BangaloreQualifications & Experience- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Bioinformatics. - 10- 17 years biopharma R&D experience; - Min 6-7+ years exp in leadership role.Role Purpose: -- Lead host and cell line engineering for recombinant proteins and peptides across microbial, yeast (Pichia and other yeasts), and CHO platforms while developing and deploying new molecular, cell engineering, and omics-driven technologies.Key Responsibilities- Lead host and cell line engineering for recombinant peptides and proteins across E. coli, yeast (Pichia and other yeasts), and CHO systems. - Develop, evaluate, and industrialize new technologies in: - Vector and expression system engineering - Gene integration, amplification, and secretion enhancement - High-throughput clone screening and selection - Application of CRISPR like technologies in gene editing - Drive platform-based expression system innovation to improve titer, stability, and COGS. - Integrate bioinformatics and multi-omics (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) to enable data-driven clone selection, stability prediction, and comparability. - Ensure compliance with ICH Q5/Q8–Q11 and global regulatory expectations (US FDA, EMA, CDSCO). - Enable seamless R&D → Process Development → Quality Control Microbiology transfer. - Build and lead molecular biology, host engineering, technology innovation, and bioinformatics teams.Qualifications & Experience- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Bioinformatics. - 10- 17 years biopharma R&D experience; - Min 6-7+ years exp in leadership role.**To Apply:**Kindly Send CV to rashmi.gupta@**Include in CV:**- Strong Experience in Molecular Biology/ cell line engineering and total years in this field. - Current CTC, Notice Period, Qualification. - Willingness to relocate to Bangalore (Onsite job, 5 days/week).
