Job Summary:The Title Post Closing Specialist is responsible for managing all activities that occur after a real estate transaction has closed. This includes document review, recording, lender and investor deliverables, policy issuance, and quality control to ensure compliance with client, underwriter, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Review closed loan packages for completeness and accuracy. - Perform post-closing quality control (QC) checks on all executed documents. - Prepare and submit documents for E-Recording or manual recording with county offices. - Track and resolve recording rejections and follow up until confirmation is received. - Issue final title policies and endorsements in accordance with underwriter guidelines. - Handle lender requests, trailing document follow-ups, and curative actions. - Coordinate with escrow, closing, underwriting, and recording teams to resolve defects. - Update systems with recording details, policy numbers, and completion status. - Perform tax verification, lien release tracking, and post-closing compliance checks. - Maintain turn-around-time (TAT) and SLA adherence. - Prepare post-closing reports and assist in audits as required.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Strong knowledge of US Title Insurance and Post Closing workflows. - Experience in E-Recording, Policy Issuance, and Trailing Document management. - Familiarity with county recording standards and rejection handling. - Attention to detail and strong quality control skills. - Ability to work with multiple underwriters and lender guidelines. - Proficiency in title production systems and MS Office tools. - Excellent communication and coordination skills.Preferred Experience:- 2+ years in Title Post Closing / Title Operations. - Experience working with major underwriters and national lenders. - Exposure to high-volume production environments.
