Then this may be the role for you!Freedom Tree is looking for a Merchandiser to handle our Home Textiles and fast-growing Apparel Categories. The merchandiser is the steward of the collections and offerings in their category from conception with design team to sell-through on the floor. It’s a role that requires a creative, collaborative, and analytical mind.Please note that this role is a full-time requirement and based in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.Main responsibilities:- Developing an overall strategy for a product category through research, customer insights, and analysis. - Driving range planning for perennial and seasonal collections. Working with design, production, and merchandising team to ensure timely introduction of new products and collections. - Maintaining product heirachies, pricing ladders, and relevant options and quantities for customers. - Allocation, distribution planning and monitoring of sell-through for all channels. Working with channel leads on visual merchandising, product displays, to ensure optimal experience and sell-thru. - Managing re-orders and replenishments with input from all data systems and customer and channel feedback. - Monitor and maintain stock levels, progress to target, and view of business profitability.Ideal Candidate Profile:- At least 1-2 years experience in merchandising, category management, or range planning in a consumer facing brand - A creative or design background through formal training or applied work experience - Strong analytical skillset, able to use tools like MS Excel fluently - Conversant with the terminologies and methodologies of retail merchandising and product planning - Experience working with home furnishing, décor, furniture, or related categories - Experience working with teams – creative design as well as operational and business teamsTo apply, please share your resume and expression of interest with production.head@ and rishabh@ or apply directly here on Linkedin.About Freedom Tree:Freedom Tree store recommends edgy global color design and quirky coordination for your home.
