This position has operational and technical responsibility for reporting, analytics, and visualization dashboards Randstad’s largest strategic client. . This position will develop processes and strategies to consolidate, automate, and improve reporting and dashboards for external clients and internal stakeholders.The Global Business Intelligence Associate Director must combine deep knowledge in the HR, BPO and staffing business with expertise in data solutions for our clients and internal business stakeholders that include global business services, finance, and internal field steering. This person acts as a leader for the team and a liaison to data scientists and data engineers to implement solutions and share domain knowledge. The GBI Director supports requests for specialized niche analytics, with an emphasis on proactive data solutions supporting our internal and/or external stakeholders. The impact of this role is encompassed in both excellent technical development and the ability to communicate results and tell a compelling story. The GBI Director will manage and help priortize a heavy BAU data reporting workload with high demand, time-sensitive ad hoc requests for a global team, in a very fast-paced environment. Capable of creating new, innovative ways of working, taking into industry best practices, but customizing solutions that are flexible to client/stakeholder needs.Key stakeholders- RSR internal stakeholders include but are not limited to C-Suite, Finance, Regional Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and operational account leaders.Experience & Knowledge- Must have 12-15+ years of data-focused experience in BI/Analytics space - Must have 5 years in a leadership role with experience of managing global remote teams - Prior experience of creating and executing a BI roadmap - Prior experience in creating and executing an AI/Automation roadmap - Knowledge and experience in recruitment and business process outsourcing - Proven work experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role in people analytics - Highly analytical mind and strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical experts and stakeholders - Programming: SQL (must), python or R (preferred) - Databases: BigQuery (preferred) - ML methods: regression, clustering, time series analysis, classification (preferred) - Data wrangling (must) - Google Cloud Platform (preferred) - Experience with ETL tools and techniques - Expertise with BI platforms (e.g. Domo, Tableau, PowerBI) - Proven analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to engage with a global team in a matrixed environmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Excellent communication and facilitation skills required for various levels throughout external and internal organizations - Excellent presentation skills used in delivering solutions to senior leadership - Demonstrated continuous improvement, process documentation, and workflow skills - Excellent leadership skills and the ability to oversee multiple high performing teams - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, tasks, and meeting deadlines while maintaining quality - Ability to synthesize and analyze information and ideas - Strong drive and commitment to delivering outstanding results - Have the ability to provide value with the use of analytics to help achieve the account’s objectives and the organization’s initiatives - Ability to create meaningful insights and metrics that aligned to business priorities and objectives - Data visualization and the ability to interpret data and translate it to non tech people - Experience in data pipeline creation, quality improvement and analysis to provide teams with actionable insights, informing strategy, impact and investments - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and a well-organized, structured approach to work.
