Job Description

About the role: We are looking for a versatile3D Artistwith strong skills across the full 3D production pipeline, includingmodeling, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering. The ideal candidate is comfortable working inMaya, Blender, and Unreal Engine, and can contribute both creatively and technically to high-quality real-time and pre-rendered projects.Key Responsibilities:3D Modeling Create high-qualityhard-surface and organic modelsbased on concepts or references. Produce clean topology suitable for animation and real-time workflows. Optimize assets for both high-poly and low-poly use cases.Rigging Build efficient rigs for characters, props, and mechanical assets. Developskin weighting, controllers, and deformation systems. Collaborate with animators to ensure rigs meet production needs.Animation Animate characters, objects, and cameras with strong timing, weight, and realism. Create bothkeyframe animationsandcycle animationsfor gameplay and cinematics. Work with UE animation systems (State Machines, Sequencer, Control Rig is a plus).Rendering & Lighting Set up lighting, shading, and rendering workflows inMaya, Blender, and Unreal Engine. Produce high-qualityturntables, cinematic shots, product renders, and in-engine visuals. Ensure consistency in look, style, and technical performance.Pipeline & Collaboration Import and prepare assets inside Unreal Engine with proper materials and LODs. Maintain asset naming conventions and file organization. Work closely with designers, tech artists, and directors.Required Skills: Proficiency inAutodesk MayaandBlender. Strong understanding ofUnreal Engine(materials, lighting, sequencing, asset setup). Thorough knowledge ofmodeling, UV mapping, rigging, animation, and rendering. Ability to create PBR-ready textures (using Substance Painter is a plus). Good understanding of anatomy, motion, weight, and timing principles. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in rigs, animations, and engine pipelines.Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience withControl Rigin Unreal Engine. Experience insimulation tools(nCloth, XGen, Geometry Nodes, Niagara). Basic knowledge ofPython or Blueprint scripting. Familiarity withVR/AR asset optimization.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Game Design, VFX, or related field (optional). Strong portfolio showcasing modeling, rigging, animation, and rendering work.
