Job Description: Government Head – Print Media (Rajasthan Patrika)Location: Delhi Experience Required: Min. 20 YrsRole Summary:Rajasthan Patrika is seeking an experienced Government Head – Print to lead and expand government advertising revenue from central and state government departments, PSUs, and public sector bodies. The role requires strong exposure to DAVP/Bureau of Outreach & Communication (BOC) norms and government media processes.Key Responsibilities:Key contacts with top secretaries, bureaucracy, ministriesWorked on special initiatives, innovative revenue strategies in govtHead government advertising (Print) business for Delhi and assigned marketsDrive revenue from Central Ministries, State Governments, PSUs, and Autonomous BodiesManage empanelment and compliance with DAVP/BOC guidelines and policiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with government officials and media agenciesPlan and execute annual government sales strategies and revenue targetsCoordinate with internal teams for ad releases, scheduling, billing, and collectionsEnsure timely submission of documents, release orders, and government billingTrack policy changes, tenders, and new government advertising opportunitiesLead and mentor the government sales teamKey Skills & Competencies:Strong experience in Government Print Advertising SalesIn-depth knowledge of DAVP/BOC norms, rates, and proceduresExcellent relationship management with government stakeholdersStrong negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skillsHigh level of compliance and documentation accuracyQualification:Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)What We Offer:Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentivesOpportunity to lead a critical government revenue verticalAssociation with a reputed and credible print media group
