This role requires strong *system design skills, critical thinking, and the ability to make sound architectural decisions* while working closely with engineering and product teams.Key Responsibilities* Lead backend architecture design for scalable and high-performance systems* Be hands-on with coding using Python and Node.js* Design and implement microservices, APIs, and distributed systems* Analyze complex technical problems and provide *clean, efficient solutions** Review code, enforce best practices, and improve overall code quality* Mentor engineers while remaining deeply involved in implementation* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Required Skills & Experience* 8+ years of backend development experience* Strong hands-on expertise in Python and Node.js* Proven experience in system architecture and design* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills* Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)* Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions independentlyNice to Have* Experience with high-scale or high-availability systems* Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization* Prior experience working with distributed or global teams
