Alternate investment funds (AIFs) managed by VAM have invested over $1bn since inception.the Role Senior Manager – Network Security to own and lead our enterprise network and security infrastructure across data center and branches. combine hands-on technical depth with team leadership, ensuring our network is secure, highly available, and scalable to support business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and operations of: Routing & switching (LAN/WAN), Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Wireless networks, Load balancers and WAN links. Create and review HLD/LLD for network and security solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards. Act as L3 escalation point for complex incidents; drive RCA and permanent fixes. Own network monitoring & performance using NMS tools (e.g., SolarWinds, OpManager, Nagios). Manage vendor coordination, change management, and implementation of new projects/migrations. Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of network/security engineers. Maintain accurate network documentation (diagrams, inventories, configurations). Support audits, compliance, and security hardening initiatives in coordination with InfoSec and other teams. Required Skills & Experience 10–12+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with strong focus on network security. Deep hands-on expertise in L2/L3 switching, routing, VLANs, WAN. Experience with at least two firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Barracuda). Site-to-site and remote access VPNs. Enterprise Wi-Fi (controllers, APs, secure WLAN design). Load balancers (e.g., F5, Radware, FortiWAN or similar). Strong troubleshooting skills, including packet-level and performance analysis. Experience leading end-to-end network/security projects or acting as technical lead for large environments. Prior experience managing or mentoring engineers. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. Preferred certifications (any of): CCNP (Enterprise / Security), CCIE (Security/Enterprise – written or lab), Vendor certifications in firewalls, Wi-Fi, load balancers, or NMS tools (advantage, not mandatory). Behavioral Competencies Strong ownership mindset and comfort working in mission-critical 24×7 environments. Clear, confident communication with technical teams and business stakeholders. Structured approach to documentation, change control, and incident/problem management. Ability to build trust, guide teams, and drive outcomes under pressure.
