We're hiring an IT & Systems Manager to own the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of business systems across our portfolio companies. When we acquire a company, you'll be in the middle of the integration work—migrating data, standing up new systems, coordinating with vendors, and making sure everything actually works. Between acquisitions, you'll maintain documentation of our tech stack, manage user access, and keep our systems running smoothly. This is hands-on work. You'll be configuring Salesforce, running data migrations, troubleshooting broken integrations, and coordinating vendor implementations. You'll work closely with the Head of Portfolio Operations and collaborate with our M&A Integration Manager during deal transitions. Key Responsibilities Implement and configure SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Ramp, HRIS systems, etc.) during M&A integrations Execute data migrations when we acquire companies—customer data, user accounts, financial records moving between systems Coordinate vendor implementations: run kickoff calls, track timelines, troubleshoot when things break Maintain documentation of our tech stack across all portfolio companies—software inventory, license counts, renewal dates, vendor contacts Manage SSO configuration, user provisioning, and access control across tools Handle onboarding/offboarding system access when employees join or leave portfolio companies Build integrations between systems as needed—API work, Zapier, native connectors—coordinating with dev teams when necessary Ideal Qualifications 5–8 years in hands-on IT implementation or systems administration roles Experience with data migrations—you've moved data between systems before and can talk through how you approached it Familiarity with common business SaaS platforms (Salesforce, financial systems, HRIS tools) Comfortable talking to both technical and non-technical people—you'll explain things to executives and debug issues with vendors Strong communication skills—fluent written and verbal English required Prior experience working with US-based companies Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Nice to Have Experience in M&A integration or PE/VC portfolio environments Salesforce Admin certification or equivalent experience Experience with integration platforms (Zapier, Workato, Tray.io) What This Role Is Not You won't be building custom software or writing production code—this is configuration and integration work This is not a help desk role—you're implementing systems, not resetting passwords Work Arrangement Fully remote Must have meaningful overlap with US business hours for collaboration (minimum 4 hours daily) India-based candidates preferred If you're interested in building and maintaining business systems for a portfolio of high-quality software companies alongside a small, entrepreneurial team backed by permanent capital, we'd love to connect!
