Velodata Global Pvt Ltd. Is hiring an experienced IBM Db2 Developer for one of our esteemed Client. About the job IBM DB2 Developer Contract: 6 months Experience: 5 to 9 years Location: Pune/Hyderabad/Chennai/Coimbatore Salary: Industry standard Note: DB2 Certification is Mandatory Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain robust Data ingestion and transformation processes, pipelines including batch processing and incremental loads - Perform complex data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and testers to understand data requirements - Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability across environments - Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability - Document data models, flows, and transformation logic Required skills & Experiences: - Proven experience in Data Analytics platform development and data integration engineering. - Strong proficiency in SQL/NZPLSQL and working with DB2 relational databases. - Experience with data integration tools and shell scripting - Experience with Data warehouse structure, including active/passive configurations and load balancing. - Should have strong expertise in stored procedures, query optimization, and the ability to perform impact analysis on upgrades and other related changes to IBM db2wh. - Knowledge of Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory will be an added advantage. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps - Familiarity with insurance or reinsurance data will be an added advantage - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in structured environments with formal processes Interested Candidates may apply!
