Senior Software Developer (Full Stack - Delhi)About the job:We are looking for senior full-stack developers to join our expanding development team to lead development work on our market leading intelligence platforms.You will have demonstratable experience in leading development of high-performance front-end applications, APIs, back-end services, database solutions, and CI/CD pipelines. What you’ll be doing:Developing and maintaining software that powers our subscriber platforms and data gathering operationsWorking with large and complex relational databases including spatialWorking within a supportive team in an agile development methodologyLeading the development cycle, from initial wireframing to final deploymentLead collaboration with stakeholders for requirement gathering and project planningGuide developers to achieve project deliverables in a timely mannerWorking across teams, supporting clients and reporting progress to senior managementYou’ll need to have:Minimum 8 years’ experience in software development working within SDLC practises Experience in updating stakeholders with project progress and supervising junior developersAbility to communicate clearly in English across geographically dispersed teams A Computer Science degree or equivalent from a top tier universityGood organisational skills and strong attention to detail You’ll need to have these technical skills:Very strong skills in .NET development in C#Expert knowledge of frontend languages such as: Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Kendo UIExpert knowledge of backend services such as: C#, WebApi, PythonExpert knowledge of data providers such as: SQL ServerExperience building CI/CD pipelines with: Bitbucket, Git, TeamCity CI, Octopus Deploy, JIRA Issue Tracking or comparable productsWe love to see:Curiosity and willingness to learn new techniques, programming languages and software tools and an appreciation of the wider software development landscapeAny knowledge of the maritime, offshore oil and gas, or offshore renewable industriesAwareness of global trade, economics, and statisticsAny working knowledge of using Azure Services including Event Hubs, Azure Kubernetes Services, Databricks, Azure Redis and Azure FoundryWorking at Clarksons Research:Clarksons Research is the leading global provider of intelligence and research across shipping, trade, offshore and energy.
