Company Background: A 30-year diversified business group with presence in manufacturing, warehousing, and real estate, recently expanded into road construction and infrastructure. The infrastructure vertical is in an early growth phase with strong expansion plans. The GM Plant and Machineries will be responsible for overseeing the complete mechanical function for road and highway construction projects. This role includes management of construction plants and machinery, procurement, maintenance, repairs, and administration of the mechanical team to ensure uninterrupted project execution. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the entire mechanical team including engineers, supervisors, operators, and mechanics. for road / highway construction projects. - Oversee procurement, hiring, deployment, operation, maintenance, and repair of all construction plant and machinery. - Ensure smooth daily operation of construction equipment including: - Hot Mix Plant / Batch Mix Plant / WMM Plant - Tippers / Excavators / Paver/ Tandem Roller etc. other road construction machinery - Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. - 4.Monitor machinery performance, fuel consumption, spares usage, and maintenance costs. Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech in Mechanical Exp: Min 15 experiences in construction of road / highway along with 4 to 6 years administrative experience (Heading Plant and Machineries )
