Key responsibilities - Identify and develop research topics aligned with cybersecurity market evolution and client priorities - Structure analytical frameworks and manage workstreams to deliver high-quality research outputs within defined timelines - Contribute significantly to the published research agenda for cybersecurity within the EIT practice - Lead defined modules or medium-sized custom research and advisory engagements focused on cybersecurity services and solutions - Build and deepen domain expertise across cybersecurity technologies, services, and delivery models by leveraging internal subject matter experts and external sources - Support business development activities, including proposal development, solution positioning, and client discussions - Engage proactively with external stakeholders through analyst interactions, executive conversations, and ongoing client relationship management Skills & activities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex cybersecurity topics into clear insights - Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines - Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in team-based environments - Ability to quickly build expertise across cybersecurity domains, technologies, and service models - Comfort working in a fast-paced, non-hierarchical, and ambiguous environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) Education & experience - 1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following: - Research, advisory, or consulting roles focused on cybersecurity, IT services, or digital technologies - Global sourcing or strategy teams within consulting firms or service providers with exposure to cybersecurity services - Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as managed security services, cloud security, identity, application security, infrastructure security, data protection, and GRC - Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and their security implications across cloud, digital, and engineering platforms - Ability to understand market trends in outsourcing, managed services, shared services, and offshoring in the context of cybersecurity - Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred - 1to 3 years of post-MBA experience in technology, advisory, research, or outsourcing strategy roles - Strong interest in cybersecurity, digital risk, and technology services - Prior experience in technology or cybersecurity-focused roles is a plus - Exposure to deal solutioning, RFP responses, or service provider evaluations in cybersecurity or IT services is an advantage
