Description Mandatory Skills Technical Leadership: - Develop approach to technical delivery in bids and projects. - Specify resources for delivery, checking and approval of project deliverables - Interface with UK Project Manager and Team Leaders to mobilise teams on projects - Review and develop detailed task lists and delivery time scales required - Review and develop time allocation by grade and by individual task - Identify new technical domains for iCRC to enhance involvement and support Mobility services. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the modelling team. - Develop and implement a comprehensive training program to enhance team skills and knowledge. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Review skills matrix and identify gaps within the team – work with leads to address on the training need - Take ownership and regularly update skills / competency matrix. - Coordinate trainings arrangement with UK counterparts and make sure staff get similar experience. - Liaise with UK PMs and leads to seek constructive feedback at staff level/ project level and understand areas of improvement/ gaps in skillset. Mentorship and Training: Quality Assurance: - Ensure all deliverables from the iCRC modelling team meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. - Implement robust quality control processes to identify and rectify errors promptly. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align modelling standards with organizational goals. - Prepare and maintain detailed list of self-check expected from delivery team before it reaches the review / sign off. - Work closely with UK counterparts about report requirements and standards by client / framework etc., - Identifying and setting up the requirements on the technical note preparing at key stages, which will meet the reporting standards - Work towards ensuring that all projects with iCRC involvement strictly follow the WSP India BMS guidelines and policies. Professional Development: - Encourage and support team members in their journey towards professional chartership. - Provide resources and opportunities for professional development and certification. - Recognize and reward progress and achievements in professional growth. - Work closely with MTG, identify list of tasks that could benefit from developing automated tools. - Encourage innovation and development of new tools Qualifications - Understanding of UK Transport Guidelines and Principles - Previous experience on UK projects will be highly desirable - Experience of GIS packages – QGIS, ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS (knowledge of Python and the use of Model Builder); - Previous experience and capability in programming, AGOL, Cloud Services, VBA, and/or BAT files, FME, Power platform and Power BI
