Position : Sales Application Engineer (GBO Business Unit)Location : ManesarWorking : HybridRoles & Priority :-Technical Analysis & Design- Read and analyze specifications from GE, Mitsubishi Power Americas/Japan, GE Power, Aero, and services. - Understand industry standards and codes to address customer technical inquiries. - Calculate pressure drop, weight, hydraulic, and acoustic levels. - Provide conceptual designs and suitable filter system configurations using GEM and LCC software.Customer & Supplier Communication- Communicate with suppliers on technical subjects to ensure quoted components meet customer requirements. - Engage with customers for clarification on proposed offerings. - Provide accurate technical and commercial proposals.Project Documentation & Support- Prepare documentation for internal (suppliers) and external (customers) kick-off meetings. - Prepare project VORs and follow up with customers. - Provide target sheets for the execution team and assist in adjustments. - Implement new inputs into future costs and proposals based on target outputs. - Assist in the gating process and prepare pre-quote and pre-contract documents. - Prepare the initial risk management process.Process & Tool Development- Participate in the development of sales estimate tools. - Respond to Account Manager questions. - Communicate with suppliers to ensure adequate packaging for each project. - Analyze and provide paint specifications according to customer requirements.Administrative- Register orders in ERP systems (CRM, D365).Education & Experience : -- BE / BTech / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC Engineering. - 3–7 years of experience in sales & application engineering, preferably in air filtration, HVAC, power plants - Experience with EPCs, consultants, or OEMs is an advantage.
