This is a high-impact role for someone who goes beyond traditional EA responsibilities and acts as a thoughtful execution partner to senior leadership. The role requires strong ownership, structured thinking, comfort with AI and digital tools, and the ability to manage priorities, communication, and follow-through in a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation. Experience in the development sector is essential; exposure to agriculture or climate-resilient livelihoods is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Operational Support - Support the MD in strategic planning, research, meeting preparation, and execution follow-ups - Manage calendar, travel, documentation, and prioritization of key tasks - Bring structure, clarity, and actionable insights to discussions and decisions Technology & AI Enablement - Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT), Google Workspace, and automation tools to improve productivity - Build simple systems, trackers, and workflows to improve operational efficiency Communication & Documentation - Manage internal and external communication with clarity and professionalism - Prepare crisp presentations, summaries, notes, and stakeholder communication - Ensure alignment of communication with organizational priorities and leadership intent Stakeholder & Leadership Coordination - Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely follow-ups - Represent the MD in internal or external meetings when required - Engage confidently with funders, partners, and senior stakeholders Execution, Prioritization & Closure - Deliver high-quality work under tight timelines - Manage shifting priorities with maturity and solution-oriented thinking - Track progress and ensure closure of critical action items Confidentiality & Professional Conduct - Handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity - Uphold high standards of professionalism in all interactions Qualifications & Experience Education - B.SC(Agriculture) - Master’s degree or relevant certifications (preferred) Experience - 4–5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant, operations, or leadership-support role - Prior experience in the development sector is mandatory - Exposure to agriculture, climate resilience, or sustainability work is a strong advantage Skills - Strong proficiency in AI tools, MS Office, and Google Workspace - Excellent written and verbal English communication - Strong organizational and project management skills - Confidence in engaging with external partners and senior stakeholders Personal Attributes - High ownership, reliability, and attention to detail - Structured thinker with a calm, solution-oriented approach - High emotional intelligence, discretion, and humility - Confident, grounded, and comfortable working closely with senior leadership - Interest in growing with the organization over the long term Reporting Structure Reports to: Managing Director (MD) Travel This position requires moderate travels as per the need.
