We are setting up a new membership based library in Visakhapatnam offering yearly, 3 month, and 6 month plans. To bring this vision to life, we are looking for a dedicated Librarian to join our team. Responsibilities: - Manage daily library operations including membership registrations and renewals. - Catalog, organize, and maintain books and digital resources. - Assist members in book selection and reading guidance. - Track borrowing/returns and maintain accurate records. - Coordinate with vendors for infrastructure (computers, AC rentals, etc.). - Organize reading sessions, workshops, and community events to build engagement. Requirements: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Library Science or related field. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Prior experience in library management or educational institutions preferred. - Tech friendly (basic computer handling, catalog software). - Passion for books and community building.
