Job Title: Team Lead - Financial Services Department: Operations / Finance & Accounting / Financial Analytics Location: Gurgaon Reports to: Delivery Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to manage and drive service delivery for financial services processes. The role involves leading a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality client deliverables, and continuously improving processes. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge, client-handling skills, and proven people management experience. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & People Management - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of financial analysts and associates - Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to clients request and KPIs - Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and skill development sessions Client Delivery & Operations - Manage end-to-end delivery of financial services processes (e.g., accounting, reporting, analysis, reconciliations, valuations, compliance support) - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client outputs with minimal errors - Act as the primary escalation point for delivery or quality issues - Maintain strong client relationships and support client calls/reviews - Prepare and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and controls Required Qualifications - Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field - 5-9+ years of experience in financial services, KPO, or shared services - 1-3+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role - Strong knowledge of financial processes and client delivery models Preferred Qualifications - CFA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent - Experience working with global clients (US/UK/Europe) - Exposure to multiple financial services domains (Banking, Asset Management, Insurance, Software, Healthcare) Key Skills & Competencies - Strong people leadership and stakeholder management - Client-focused mindset with problem-solving ability - Excellent communication (verbal and written) - High attention to detail and quality orientation - Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and multiple priorities
