Function Context1.1 PositioningPosition: End User Computing Senior EngineerSupervisory Role: NoReports To: Head of Global Networks & End-User Services1.2 Purpose of the RoleArcelorMittal is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to manage comprehensive workplace support activities across Europe. The role involves desktop support, business software package preparation and support, and ensuring seamless operations across all European organizations within ArcelorMittal.This role is part of the tower in charge of Global Networks and End User Services.2. Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop Support ManagementManage all desktop support activitiesEnsure timely and effective resolution of technical issues to maintain optimal productivityBusiness Package Preparation and SupportManage the preparation, deployment, and support of business packagesEnsure packages meet the specific needs of various departments and functionsTechnical ExpertiseDemonstrate proficiency in end-user supportDemonstrate proficiency in business software packaging using Microsoft technologiesStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with stakeholders across different European organizationsUnderstand business needs and ensure delivery of high-quality support servicesContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process improvementsImplement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of workplace support activitiesCompliance and SecurityEnsure workplace support activities comply with relevant regulations and security standardsMaintain the integrity and confidentiality of company data3.
