The role is suited for a senior transactional lawyer with the ability to independently lead complex financing matters, manage client relationships, and contribute to practice growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including: Project finance, Structured and acquisition finance, Asset and infrastructure finance, Refinancing and debt restructuringIndependently draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated financing and security documentationAdvise clients on transaction structuring, regulatory considerations, and risk mitigationAct as a primary point of contact for key clients, lenders, and counterpartiesSupervise, mentor, and review work of associates and senior associatesCoordinate transaction timelines, negotiations, and closingsSupport business development initiatives, including client pitches, proposal preparation, and relationship buildingWork closely with partners to expand the Banking & Finance practice in the Delhi officeRequirementsTypically 10–12 years of post-qualification experience in Banking & Finance at a law firmProven experience handling transactions independently end-to-endStrong command over financing documentation and security creationSound understanding of Indian banking, finance, and regulatory frameworksEstablished client-handling and negotiation capabilitiesPrior experience mentoring junior team members
