National Business Manager – Water, Chemical & PharmaceuticalLocation: Bangalore Travel: 50% within India Experience: 7–15 yearsJob SummaryWe are looking for a senior techno-commercial leader to drive national business for industrial oxygen generation and utility solutions across Wastewater Treatment, Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage industries.This role focuses on building and scaling the market for on-site oxygen generation systems through solution-led, project-based and BOO (Build-Own-Operate) sales models.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop business opportunities across:Wastewater treatmentPharmaceutical manufacturingFood & Beverage processingBuild market and customer strategies including customer case development and opportunity analysisLead technical and commercial discussions with customersPrepare and present technical proposals, application summaries and economic evaluationsDrive equipment and BOO based project salesEducate customers on industrial oxygen applications and benefitsPlan and participate in industry exhibitions, seminars and technical eventsBuild and manage relationships with:Industrial clientsConsultantsEPC contractorsLead opportunity qualification and analysis using structured decision toolsReview and manage national sales pipeline using CRM (Salesforce)Leadership & Team BuildingBuild and lead a national techno-commercial sales teamSet targets, monitor performance and drive conversionsConduct regular sales and opportunity reviewsSupport regional teams in complex bids and strategic accountsBusiness Planning & Commercial ManagementPrepare annual budgets and sales forecastsMaintain sales MIS, opportunity and account databasesDevelop commercial proposals including pricing, costing and project economicsSupport BOO / project finance discussionsRequired Experience & QualificationsEngineering degree (Mechanical / Chemical / related discipline or BPharm)Business qualification is an added advantage7–15 years of experience in technical / project sales and bid managementStrong background in:Wastewater / water treatment solutions orPharmaceutical industry solution sellingProven experience in:Industrial utility or process solution salesProject and bid managementCommercial and financial proposal preparationExperience in working with consultants and EPC contractorsPrior experience in oxygen or industrial gas applications is desirableExperience in leading or building sales teams is preferredAbility to collaborate with cross-functional and global teamsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to lead technical and commercial negotiationsAnalytical and decision-making capabilityStrong commercial and financial understandingEntrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindsetSelf-driven and result focusedIndustry Background Preferred: Water & wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food & beverage processing, industrial utilities, EPC and project-driven solution environments.
