Job Title: Assistant Manager, FinanceRole Scope: Entity Finance ControllerLocation: BangaloreJob OverviewResponsible for end-to-end finance controllership and operational finance for a portfolio of commercial real estate SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicle), covering accounting, reporting, audits, compliance, controls, and stakeholder coordination, while working closely with Business Finance, Asset Management, Group Finance, and external advisors, as well as other internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end accounting for assigned SPVs including revenue, operating expenses, CAM recoveries, lease accounting, provisions, capitalization, CWIP, borrowing costs, and transition to investment property or PPEPrepare, review, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS and IGAAP and drive timely period closuresPrepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, schedules, and variance analysisAct as finance SPOC for statutory, tax, and internal audits; prepare audit schedules, coordinate responses, and ensure closure of observationsEnsure timely compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory requirements and support consistent application of group accounting policiesSupport internal financial controls, identify control gaps and process inefficiencies, and contribute to standardisation, automation, and ERP optimisation initiatives (SAP preferred)Coordinate with Group Finance to ensure seamless cross-border operations, data exchange, and policy adherenceTake ownership of defined entities and projects, build capability across real estate finance and SPV structures, and demonstrate readiness for independent entity management, and support other controllership activities as requiredQualifications & ExperienceChartered Accountant (mandatory) with experience in a statutory audit firm and/or in a real estate organization.2–4 years of post-qualification experience with exposure to statutory audit, financial reporting, and GAAPSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of Ind-AS, accounting principles, and Indian taxation (GST, TDS)Understanding of commercial real estate models, leases, CAM recoveries, and SPV structuresStrong MS Excel skills; Power BI exposure is an advantage; ERP experience preferredHigh analytical ability, attention to detail, clear communication, strong ownership mindset, and ability to work across multiple stakeholders and entities
