Senior Software tester (Manual and Automation)Location: Offshore – India (Remote, Full-Time)Experience: 5+ Years Role OverviewYour Roles should be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment process. You'll lead and conduct manual and automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Understanding of Test architecture and Test design, Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills, Testing Process for Agile, V-Model, Waterfall. Develop and present QA defect and status reports, Knowledge and application of Bug Tracking in Jira.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the requirements , find out the features that covers Functional & regression testingDesign and maintain scalable, reusable test frameworksDefine QA strategy, architecture, and best practicesDrive Agile QA processes within SCRUM/Kanban teamsIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD and release pipelinesStandardize testing practices across teams Test the application after every product release in QA ,UAT and PROD environmentsMentor QA engineers and drive continuous improvementCollaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholdersEvaluate new tools and technologies through POCs.Required Skills & ExperienceTotal Testing Experience should be 5+ Years( including both manual and Automation)Hands-on experience building reusable automation frameworksStrong coding skills any programming language like( Java, C#, python,Javascript/Typescript.)Automation experience with any toolsPlaywright (TypeScript), Rest Assured / Karate, Selenium (WebDriver), TestNG, CucumberExperience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, REST API .Strong understanding of test planning, strategy, and quality metricsWorking knowledge of Linux/Unix, windows.Good Knowledge and Experience in SQL .Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)Experience with cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred)Hands-on exposure to JIRA or any other project management tools.Experience with BDD, E2E, smoke, sanity, performance testing with Jmeter.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsNice to HaveExperience in Agile Process Experience in developing automation script using Playwright /typescriptExperience in creating pipeline or Executing in Azure Devops or any CI/CD pipelinesConducting demos of the application for internal and external stakeholdersReviewing all testing artifacts prepared by the team and ensuring that defects found during the review are tracked to closureExperience in any Non-functional testing Tool like Jmeter.
